My journey began when I was pregnant with my first son. I’d always been a worrier and I genuinely had no idea how I would get through birth.
I discovered Hypnobirthing and jumped at the chance to complete a course in it. It taught me how to breathe properly and truly relax. This completely transformed the way I felt about giving birth, which led me to have a beautiful experience that was beyond anything I could have imagined.
It also inspired me to train as a Hypnobirthing teacher so I could support couples to have a beautiful birthing experience.
After I had my second son, I experienced several unrelated emotional traumas that triggered severe forms of PTSD and Post Natal Depression. I was prescribed antidepressants but deep down, I knew there was another path awaiting me - one where I could use my personal wellbeing toolkit to support myself.
But even this wasn’t the real catalyst for my emotional healing journey. That came after burnout, autoimmune disease and a huge number of food intolerances. The message from my body was clear: stress was making me sick and it was time to take back control.
I’d love to say it was easy but it was anything but. I had been so used to soothing and numbing my emotions, especially with food. My many food intolerances meant I could barely eat anything and my usual way of “coping” with my emotions was out of the question. My mind and body felt truly broken and having to sit with so much undealt with emotional pain was so . difficult.
Breathwork has changed my life
Learning how to slow down, turn in and connect with myself and focus on my breath, changed everything. It helped me calm my agitated nervous system, increased my awareness and understanding of why I was feeling the way I was, and enabled me to support every system in my body. Along with B.R.E.A.T.H.E (my emotional wellness toolkit), it’s played such a key role in my physical healing.

I am so passionate about raising awareness of breathwork and the impact it can have on the mind and body.

I live in Worcestershire with my husband and two boys. I’m a lover of nature and happiest when I'm at the beach or surrounded by trees. As a family, we love exploring, hanging out at the beach or a National Trust property and enjoying trips away in our VW camper van.
I’m free spirited in nature, a highly sensitive person (HSP) , a bit of an over-sharer and wear my heart on my sleeve!
I love an epsom salt bath, peppermint tea and deep soulful conversations.
I have a genuine stationery obsession. Pretty notebooks and motivational journals are my thing.
I have always been a dreamer, a doer and someone who is passionate about experiencing all that life has to offer.
Pre kids, I travelled the world and this instilled my love of travel and adventure.
I value freedom, family, health and adventure and do my best to live my life in line with these core principles!
